Texas Voter ID Law Ruled Illegal & Discriminatory

A U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia has also found the Texas Voter ID Law, Senate Bill 14, to be discriminatory and illegal under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.  This coming right on the heels of a decision earlier this week that the Texas Redistricting plans were found to be discriminatory and illegal, also, under the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
