The following recommendations are a suggested general framework from which to evaluate public school finance policy alternatives during the next called or regular session. These recommendations reflect the concerns expressed during the seven public hearings held by the MALC Task Force on Public School Finance, conversations among MALC members, as well as evaluations of other reports, data and recommendations from various individuals and organizations on the topics of education and school finance.
