State Representative Gene Wu was first elected to represent HD 137 (Houston) in 2012. He serves as a member of the House Committees on Appropriations and Juvenile Justice & Family Issues. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, his Master’s from the LBJ School for Public Affairs, and his J.D. from South Texas College of Law.
