Irma Reyes is the Caucus Director at the Mexican American Legislative Caucus (MALC). Irma has worked in Texas politics for more than 10 years focusing on legislation, advocacy, organizing, campaigns, and ethics compliance. Irma began her career at the Texas Legislature in 2010 and now has five sessions of legislative experience as well as three cycles of campaign experience including presidential, statewide, congressional, and judicial campaigns.
Prior to joining MALC in 2018, Irma served as the Executive Director of the Texas Association of Consumer Lawyers and oversaw five political action committees and one Super PAC. Irma was born and raised in Eagle Pass, Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin.
