Monserrat Garcia Rodriguez

Monserrat Garcia Rodriguez is a Policy Fellow with the Mexican American Legislative Caucus (MALC). Before working with MALC during the 88th Legislative Session, Monserrat worked with MOVE Texas registering young people to vote and motivating them to show up to the ballot box. Monserrat is a rising senior at St. Mary’s University double majoring in Political Science and International and Global Studies. Monserrat was born in Eagle Pass, Texas and raised in Piedras Negras, Coahuila where she has gained a unique perspective in Mexican American culture.
